Morningscore
Industry: SaaS SEO
My role: Art Direction, Concept Development, Illustration, Web Design
Did I make everything you see: 99%. (the original spaceman and colors were legacy assets)
Client work or job: Job
Project Length: One year
Brief: Create a brand that will be able to stand out in the already saturated SEO SaaS space

The secret weapon
When our competitors have:
But we have:
Well I kind of like our chances.
Over the course of a few months I developed an entire world of storytelling around the brand mascot the "SEOnaut'' and his antics that were the driving force behind the quick adoption of our first essential customers.
When the product is in Beta and you are still figuring things out... the brand can pull a lot of weight. The gif is just a silly little showcase of just some of the assets I made in my tenure as Art Director.

The power of systems
We took a systematic approach to branding as well as the user interface design. Creating libraries based on atomic design as soon as possible. This meant that we could always make global changes to both when necessary as well as creating extremely quick iterations on the user interface as well as hundreds of illustrations.

A simple yet lively interface
Data is what SEO is about.
But not everyone enjoys the smell of a freshly baked Excel sheet.
That is why Mornigscore had a very deep, but simple interface that was constantly evolving through conversations with our users.
They came for the clearly displayed data and they came back thanks to the incredible gamification and ''missions'' combined with an energetic esthetic.
