Umbraco
Industry: Content Management SaaS
My role: Creative/Art/Design and UX lead and in charge of campaign development and facilitation
Did I make everything you see: Yes. (Logo, Colors, Type are legacy)
Commitment length: 3,5 years
Brief description: Positioning the brand as ''The friendly CMS'' in the content management system market while also making sure the company stays connected to it's users as it grows
Visualizing abstractions...
When you say Content management system, Cloud hosting or even Headless content delivery system. The imagery this language conjures up is probably blue server rooms and weird floating computers with tentacles... Well, that is what everyone else was doing.
So why not try to make the complex and cold feel... Friendly?

...and standing out.
You know what else is fun?
Looking at industry reports and seeing exactly what works for all your competitors.
Then doing the exact opposite.
And outperforming them with your campaigns.
Because creativity, strategy, and design are the last unfair (legal) advantages in business nowadays.
Now for the advertising

Or sub-brands of the company

And it looked just as good in the real world (and on mockups)

And I made a lot of programmers wear pink
